Fairfirst Insurance spent two weeks of every month assembling management reports by hand. Decisions were always made on numbers that had already aged, and the manual process was slow and easy to get wrong.
What we did
We consolidated the source systems into an operational data store and replaced the manual pack with real-time, web-based reporting built on IBM Cognos. Reports that used to take weeks to assemble are now generated automatically and available on demand.
The outcome
The team is more efficient and profitable, and customers are better served. What was two weeks of monthly manual collation is now delivered in real time.
